Windows Search Service 選項設定

微軟的 Windows 2008 Server 作業系統中, 檔案及其內容的搜尋
主要依靠服務 Windows Search Service(簡稱 Search Service), 
另外有一個 Windows2003 server indexing service (簡稱 Indexing Service )
則是傳統的檔案索引服務

據建議 以使用Search Service為佳
除非 ...

至於早期的WinXP, Win2000 若想採用新的Search Service 則須另外安裝
Windows Desktop Search

Windows Desktop Search === Windows Search Service
Windows Classic Search === indexing service

Windows desktop search 當初是為了對抗Google desktop search 而推出的?
